A dog named Peter ~ was safely brought to a local address in Welland after being found wandering from a nearby retirement home.

JFN was contacted late on December 21st, and after checking with the SPCA and searching recent lost-pet posts on Facebook, we were able to locate Peter’s missing post notice.

His family had been searching for him after he slipped out of their backyard in the Chippawa Park area. They were overjoyed to have him back home.

Another happy ending thanks to quick action, community awareness, and teamwork 💛
