Her healing starts today, thanks to the sweet, caring finders.

Indie was found on the side of the road in Canfield, and the finder reached out for help after being unable to locate any immediate assistance. Multiple calls were made to determine which shelter covered the area and to request urgent support, as the dog appeared to need immediate care. After several attempts and conflicting direction, arrangements were made for the finders to drive the dog over an hour to a JFN foster home while continuing to seek proper intervention.

Upon arrival, it was clear the dog required prompt attention. She was frightened, reactive to the leash, and appeared unfamiliar with handling. Water and gentle coaxing were offered while waiting for further guidance. After additional calls and coordination, an officer from the HSGN arrived and took the dog into care. A report was requested for follow‑up. The dog is now safely with the humane society and receiving the help she needs. 💜🐾
